I learn by building.
When a question keeps nagging at me, I turn it into a project. Sometimes it becomes a product. Sometimes it becomes a tool. Occasionally it becomes a failed experiment. Either way, I learn more from shipping than from reading about a technology in the abstract.
Building philosophy
I believe the fastest way to understand a new technology is to use it to solve a real problem. Not a tutorial. Not a proof of concept. Something that has users, constraints, and a chance of failing.
Most of my projects start with a simple question: "Would this actually be useful?" From there, I build, test, observe, and iterate. The goal is rarely to chase the latest technology. It's to understand where a technology creates enough value that people will change their behaviour.
Background
My career has taken me through government, startups, and now AI.
I spent nearly a decade in Singapore's public sector, including the Economic Development Board and Monetary Authority of Singapore, working on economic development, industry strategy, and policy. I later moved into Southeast Asia's startup ecosystem, helping companies scale teams, operations, products, and partnerships.
Today, I spend much of my time building AI-powered products, experimenting with agent systems, and helping organisations explore how emerging technologies can create practical improvements in their work. I also teach and facilitate workshops on AI, product building, and rapid experimentation.
Beyond the screen
When I'm not building, you'll usually find me travelling, exploring nature, or wandering through a new city in search of good food.
Some projects are solved with a keyboard. Others need a long walk.
